Google (GOOG) reported earnings after the market closed today. I didn’t need to look at the numbers — the stock is up and that’s the signal I need. 2011 is shaping up to be a very fine year.
Vitamin Shoppe’s (VSI) one-year chart makes the stock look buyable, but estimates three and four quarters out show 25% and 17% growth coming. I thought VSI might take off like Herbalife (HLF) did last week but after analyzing VSI’s earnings table, I’m not smitten. I’ll continue to keep VSI on the radar.
Stocks went on sale last month and I used the blue-light specials to snap up some stock’s I’ve had my eye on for months. Right now the Growth Portfolio holds every stock I want except one.
